Join us for a unique photo feast as we celebrate the work of Peter Sparkman and his visual insights into the lives, loves and interactions of our local queer community!
His stunning images span over 15 years of the ChillOut Festival. Life size B&W prints adorn the gallery walls and beckon the viewer to submerge themselves into the space.
From a family of Artists & Creatives
Peter Sparkman has been part of the Central Highlands art scene for over 30 years. He has been photographing ChillOut for over 10 years
and had his first solo exhibition for the Ballarat International Foto Biennale in 2023.
His Black & White images are reminiscent of 70’s Time Life magazine. Candidly documenting life through the lense his images provide audiences with a rich empathic view into queer creative rural life. Peters images capture ChillOut as a unique rural event with a sense of realism.
