Clothes swaps are a great way to refresh your wardrobe, while saving money and reducing consumption.
We will be accepting a max of 10 pieces of clothing per person, in both kids and adult sizes. Please ensure clothes are in a good and clean condition. No rips, stains or smelly items please. All clothes must be dropped off before the swap begins so it can be sorted.
We will also be holding a mending circle. Bring along an item of clothing that needs repairing to learn basic hand sewing techniques. Needles and thread and buttons will be supplied.
The swap is $5 on entry. All money raised will go towards posting the surplus clothes from the event to the Remote Op Shop Project to support rural communities: www.remoteopshopproject.org
Please bring along a small plate of food to share.
