‘CROSSROADS - My Stories of Balibo’ marks 50 years since the murder of Anne E Stewart’s brother, journalist Tony Stewart in Balibo East Timor.
The family’s archivist and a professional storyteller, Anne weaves mythology, family anecdotes, history, music and images throughout to explain how this important moment in Australian history affected her family.
Much has been written and said about the death of the Balibo 5 but ‘Crossroads’ invites us on an inside
private journey with Anne and her family.

Things to do in Hepburn
A local showcase that promotes artists through curated exhibitions, events and an online store.
Radius fosters creative learning with workshops, classes and the exchange of skills and expertise.
We encourage the curious mind within us all.
Art is subjective and not all art is beautiful.
Art may challenge us, confound us and make us think.
We are inspired by the artists, ideas and creative
possibilities that flourish in our amazing community.
