Join us for a day immersing yourself in the somatic power of ‘Imagination’ with Gav Barbey: an interdisciplinary artist, facilitator, storyteller…
Gav’s interest in Mark Making comes from the want to discover, to play and to celebrate the unknown expression of ‘YES’.
Gav is an exhibiting visual artist, a filmmaker, a children’s television creator and presenter, a children’s book maker, a theatre and film designer, a corporate facilitator, a somatic movement and meditation facilitator, a bastion to Creative Play.
Gav combines meditation, somatic movement, dance, drawing, sculpting, nature play, ice, theatrics and imaginative activation, to allow us to adventure within the dimensional self.
"I am a big believer that everyone is creative, everyone is using and exciting their imaginations… a lot, and everyone has a unique way of expressing the world, through their unique observation and unique spark — fire — energy.
My offering is to guide and serve… you on a journey within expanding our sense of dimension—tone, texture, shape, colour… opening up to the wilderness within us, an adventure, a loving exploration of the billions of dimensions we are, that we can see, feel and express.
